“He who is not capable of enduring poverty is not capable of being free.”
A liar would be a person who said that a man is not constrained by money; that connection had been growing through the centuries till he became entirely dependent on it. It is hard to realize it, but we need money not just for the feeling of stability and comfort, because even if we have everything we need, we would like to have more and more. It is a vicious circle. And none can live without it.
Imagine the life of your dreams. Then remove money from you dream, will it remain the same? Imagine a boyfriend or a girlfriend of your dreams, and then imagine he or she is a poor vagabond, will you love him or her the same way you did it before?
Unfortunately we don’t accept a life without money not because it is not real, but for the reason it wouldn’t be as cool and amazing as we want it to be.
We depend on shopping, new comfortable things and furniture, tasty food, good automobiles, our realty our bank account, and we can’t be happy without any of these elements. May be it is natural to like comfort and easy life, but the one who puts money on the first place (even in unconsciously way) is not capable of realizing that there are things that are more important but don’t cost a cent: a smiley, an embrace, a good deed and love for example.
Only the poor man who is happy without money is free, while the others spend their lives working on jobs they hate, repaying the loan and buying useless things in order to be like others. A man without money regards another man just as a human being, not as a wallet, business partner or a good perspective husband or wife.
It doesn’t mean we should disregard money; we just need to realize that it doesn’t make the life easier or happier. Freedom is given to those who can’t buy it, because the main freedom is the freedom of the mind. If you are released from money dependence you are really free.
