You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them. ~Malcolm S. Forbes~
Who do you consider to be a “nice person”? Somebody who is nice to you? Somebody who is nice to his family and friends? The term nice person can be subjective at times. A person can be considered nice by a group of people, but not very nice by others. Being a nice person is determined by how you treat people who are not affiliated to you.
My sister once was complaining to my mom that she had troubles finding the right guy. She always ended up dating an “asshole”. My mom gave her one of the best relationship advice: ” when you are talking to a guy, observe the way he treats his mom, his friends , his co-workers and most importantly the way he treats people that cannot do anything for him. You will then be able to determine his true character.
Treating your friends and family nicely does not make you a nice person. Even Hitler was nice to his people, but was the devil to others. We all should treat everyone nicely, no matter their race, their looks or their occupation, we should all treat them with love and respect.
