“The mind that opens to a new idea never returns to its original size.” ~ Albert Einstein~
Knowledge is one of the greatest values of mankind. People had been dying for ages because of their aspiration to know more and more, there were deployed wars and slaughters just because of the knowledge control. The person who affirmed that sun was just another star moving in space, and claimed as well that the universe contained an infinite number of inhabited worlds populated by other intelligent beings was burned at the stake, because nobody wanted to believe him and it even wasn’t profitable such an idea to grow up in the minds of average people: it is easier to govern ignorant, unaware masses than intelligent individuals.
Knowledge is a wealth that cannot be stolen, cannot be deleted or canceled; it remains forever, since you griped it, yet changes the mind of its owner forever.
It is not always a fortune to discover something, but not any kind of knowledge is virtue and this is the flip side of knowledge. Many legends and myths say that there is knowledge hidden from humankind because people’s mind is imperfect and therefore they are not ready, the one who discovers the secret knowledge cannot endure its burden and can never be the same.
Knowledge is addictive, but unlike other addictive things it develops and not degrade human’s mind. Once an idea comes to mind, it doesn’t leave it, it advances and grows up, it becomes the power that changes the world. It can be a motive power of the progress or decadence, depending on the intentions of the person who uses it. The one who knows the more is not just informed and protected, he is armed, because knowledge is weapon.
A mind that opened to something new will never be the same; open your mind, explore and discover, let your knowledge be fruitful and precious!!!
